this is a crucial data that the Filipinos should be aware of. We have become so complacent of the “easy world” out there that readily offers hard cash that we forgot that this is not going to last forever. suddenly we found out that we’re running out of options when suddenly the world turned upside down. Our government should have anticipated this before so we can make the necessary preparations but of course they are all busy in their political squabbles. God help this country. the OFWs contribute a whooping 11% to our GDP! imagine the kind of reliance we have in this sector, and what kind of scenario we will have if these people will suddenly find themselves jobless due to the ongoing crises in the Middle East as well as the whole global economy?

great insight on the economic reality facing the Philippines. The Department of Education should do something about these so called “courses” to stop them robbing the parents blind not only of their money but their kids employability and future.
