International singer Charice has been dubbed a “newly crowned pop princess” by the New York Post.
PopWrap identified Charice as a “new little chick…who’s mountain-and-valley vocals (that means range, kids) are the only reason you will need to fall in love with her sound.” FULL STORY.

ron, britney is trash and worn out..lady gaga has very good potential because she works hard on her music, and she caters well to the general pop audience (although her music is rubbish too, but she just plays the name of the game). miley cyrus is nothing compared to charice. taylor swift sings a lot of girly pre-teen songs when she is reaching, if not yet, her twenties already…too premature music for her age.
Britney Spears is a mediocre singer who got famous by creating controversies in her life by selling sex to the public ala Madonna. If you like sluts then you’d like Britney for sure. Charice may or may not become as famous but I think she has already accomplished what most people can only hope to achieve in their lifetime. People who criticize her are just envious of her accomplishments. And to think that she is only 17.
I admit I hate charice but i don’t bash. If you don’t like her just leave her alone, be proud of her ‘coz she’s your own kind, a fellow filipino.
Mahiya naman kayo nakikila ang talent ng pinoy dahil sa kanya. I’m not a fan but I support filipino artist unlike some people here.
Charice will never be the princess of pop. We are proud of her achievements as fellow Filipinos but she simply do not deserve the title. Britney Spears will forever be the princess of pop. It’s a title that she earned with the phenomenal success of her first two albums …Baby one more time and Oops!…I did it again. Even Lady Gaga her apparent competitor in this decade is yet to replicate the impact that Britney has created in the 90s. Britney was the last pop icon to emerge in this millennium.
Get a life people. Your opinion anyway do not count compared to the declaration made by New York Post, which is actually, wait, a famous newspaper in US. Duh?! Anyway, Charice deserves it I think if empirical experiment is concerned. I watched her in YOUTUBE and she’s the only singer who got me so addicted. And by the way,I am not the only one. The point is, Charice did what Britney and demon-lover Lady Gaga did not. cha cha.
